Biomek Tips P1000 Span-8 Non-Sterile Wide Bore

P1000 non-sterile wide bore tips are designed for the Biomek NX, NXp, FX and FXp automation systems with a Span-8 pod. With a full 1 mL capacity and a tip diameter twice as large as standard, the wide bore tips are useful for a variety of applications: library construction for next generation sequencing sample prep where the bead mixture is viscous; stem cell research to reduce the inadvertent cell lysis of large cell-aggregates of embryoid bodies; nucleic acid preparation to minimize DNA shearing; cellular applications where pipetting of viscous solutions such as glycerol solution is commonly used; bio-fuels/bio-energy research where cellulose slurries may clog standard tips; and crop research/seed development where samples may contain large particulates.
