TCR Vβ8 Antibodies

TCR Vβ8 is also called TCRBV8S1 and S2. Vβ8 is the human variable β8 chain of the T cell receptor. It is expressed by 2.6% to 5.1% of peripheral CD3+ cells in normal blood. Vβ8 is the target of Staphylococcal Enterotoxin E (SEE). This sequence is also referred to as TRBV12-3, TRBV12-4 (based on the IMGT gene nomenclature).

Clone: 56C5.2 Isotype: IgG2a Mouse

The 56C5.2 antibody recognizes Vβ8.1 and Vβ8.2 (YT35 and PL3.3 sequences). Other Vβ8 sequences are believed to be pseudogenes.
