Antibody Reagent Module
Simplifying inventory management and more
Save tech time by automating a start-to-finish sample preparation workflow. The antibody reagent module is more than just another refrigerator for your antibodies. It's designed to reduce manual tasks during inventory management and cocktail preparation.
Reduce daily handling of antibodies through onboard refrigeration and cap piercing technology.
No need to cap/uncap tubes once they’re in the system
- 53-position, refrigerated liquid antibody carousel
- All reagents can remain onboard
- Reduces risk of cross-contamination and capping mix-ups
Auto-cocktailing gives you more time to do value-added tasks without compromising results.
- Cocktails are ready when you are: Flexible automation lets you schedule prep time for 1 or multiple cocktails outside your normal hours
- Refrigerated onboard storage of cocktails & other antibodies preserves reagent quality
- Inventory control and full traceability of cocktails and barcoded antibodies supports audit readiness
The CellMek SPS system keeps track of cocktail expiration
Once validated, you can save cocktail data, and they’ll remain stable inside the instrument.

How it works
You can easily configure auto-cocktailing via the instrument’s Panel Designer Software, which guides you through adding reagents to the library and creating cocktailing protocols that can be saved/reused.
| Reagents | Specifications |
|---|---|
| # reagents per Auto-Cocktail | 2-50 |
| Volume per reagent per test | 1-300 µL |
| Volume of Auto-Cocktail | 190-4540 µL |
Performance
An antibody cocktail prepared using the CellMek SPS instrument demonstrates highly comparable performance to manually prepared cocktails for a 7-color immunophenotyping panel.
| Reagents | FITC | PE | ECD | PC7 | APC | PB | KrO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Panel | Kappa | Lambda | CD10 | CD14 | CD19 | CD3 | CD45 |
Critical kappa/lambda separation was achieved on one CellMek SPS instrument with fully automated sample preparation, and showed results consistent with manual preparation. Data support the suitability of CellMek SPS auto-cocktailing for diagnostic workflows requiring high fidelity.
