MET ONE HHPC+ Handheld Air Particle Counter Series

The MET ONE HHPC+ Series handheld particle counters are designed for fast, accurate monitoring in cleanroom and controlled environments—especially in hard-to-reach areas. Lightweight and built for single-hand operation, they’re ideal for routine monitoring, spot-checking critical zones, identifying particle sources in production lines, and troubleshooting filter leaks. Whether you’re working in a mini-environment or maintaining ISO Class 5 to 7 cleanrooms, the HHPC+ Series provides the portability and precision needed for contamination control.

Key Features

  • Cleanroom-Ready Performance Supports cleanroom classification from ISO Class 5 to 7 with precise particle detection.
  • Wide Detection Range Measures particles from 0.3 μm to 10.0 μm with models offering 2 to 6 channel configurations.
  • Compact, Ergonomic Design Lightweight and built for single-hand operation, perfect for use in mini-environments or confined spaces.
  • High-Resolution Display Easy-to-read color screen provides clear visualization of real-time particle counts.
  • Flexible Data Transfer Connect via Ethernet, USB, or direct cable for efficient data access and analysis on your PC.
  • Regulatory Compliance Meets ISO 14644-1 cleanroom standards and uses 21 CFR Part 11 features to enable support for electronic records compliance.

Benefits

  • Enhanced Mobility Portable design lets users quickly reach tight spaces and critical control points without interrupting workflow.
  • Faster Troubleshooting Rapidly isolate particle contamination sources or filter leaks to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
  • Improved Data Integrity Digital transfer options support 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for audit readiness and accurate reporting.
  • Versatile Monitoring Suitable for cleanrooms, laminar flow benches, isolators, and process equipment.

Introduction to MET ONE HHPC+ Air Particle Counter eLearning eLearning (10 minutes): This course provides the background, theory and recommendations for instrument set-up for the handheld MET ONE HHPC+.
Modern Trends in Non‐Viable Particle Monitoring during Aseptic Processing This paper describes changes and improvements to non‐viable particle monitoring (NVP), sometimes referred to as total particulate monitoring, which is a regulatory requirement during aseptic processing. Aseptic processing is becoming more automated and increasingly important to future products of the biopharmaceutical industry. In the same manner, NVP monitoring is also becoming more automated and increasingly important for contamination risk management during aseptic processing.
Classifying a Small Cleanroom using the MET ONE HHPC 6+ This applications note will demonstrate the classification of a small ISO Class 5 Clean room and associated ISO Class 7 gowning room using a MET ONE model HHPC 6+ handheld particle counter. Reference will be made to the ISO 14644-1 clean room classification standard with regards to sample size, locations selected, limits and calculations necessary to determine the compliance status of the clean zone to ISO 14644-1 Class 5.
